Glass sticking to the roller table of tempering furnace should not happen under normal circumstances, but in most cases it is caused by improper operation. Tempering furnace is a kind of equipment used for processing glass, and its main function is to make glass harder, heat-resistant and pressure-resistant by high-temperature treatment. However, sometimes during the tempering process, the glass may accidentally stick to the roller table, which will cause the production process to stop and cause losses.
There are many reasons why glass sticks to the roller table of tempering furnace. First of all, the temperature in the furnace is very high, usually above 600 degrees, which will make the glass very sticky. In addition, there may be some untreated inhomogeneities in the glass, such as impurities or bubbles, which will cause the glass to expand unevenly during heating, and then make it adhere to the roller table.
There are many ways to solve this problem. First of all, it is very important to clean the roller table regularly. Regular cleaning can remove accumulated glass fragments and reduce the possibility of adhesion. Secondly, adjusting the temperature and treatment time in the furnace is also an important factor to solve this problem. By setting appropriate temperature and time, the viscosity of glass can be reduced and the possibility of adhesion can be reduced. In addition, some special anti-sticking agents or coatings can also be used to reduce the surface tension between glass and roller table, thus reducing the possibility of adhesion.
For example, the heating time is set too long, and an emergency stop is made when there is glass in the furnace. Once the glass sticks to the floor, users are advised to take the following measures to solve it:
1. immediately stop the furnace transmission;
2. heating off, disconnect the main air switch;
3. Open the radiator valve to cool the furnace body: when the furnace temperature drops below 600 degrees, gradually raise the furnace body; When the furnace temperature drops below 400 degrees, the furnace body is completely raised and the safety pin is inserted; In order to speed up the cooling speed, an external fan can be used for blowing cooling; When the furnace temperature drops below 100 degrees, the next step can be carried out;
4. Gently shake the porcelain roller manually to completely separate the roller table from the glass;
5. Carefully remove the roller table from the furnace body;
6. Gently shake (or tap gently with a wooden hammer) the glass bonded on the roller table and take it off;
7. Use fine sandpaper 600 #-800 # sand to remove the broken glass stuck on the roller table, and polish the roller table smoothly;
8. Clean the roller table with pure water.
9. Clean the lower radiant panel for viewing, and evenly sprinkle a little sulfur powder (100-250g) on it;
10. Install the roller table (pay attention to leveling);
11. Lower the furnace body and prepare to heat up.
In a word, it may lead to production stoppage and loss. However, by cleaning the roller table regularly, adjusting the temperature and treatment time in the furnace, and using anti-sticking agent or coating, the problem of glass adhesion can be effectively reduced and the production efficiency and quality can be improved.
