Generally, the interlayer material of laminated glass in buildings adopts PVB interlayer, and PVB film has the damping function of filtering sound waves (reducing the vibration amplitude of sound to reduce the volume transmission). Therefore, if you live in a place with serious road noise, it is right to choose a laminated glass with a PVB film thickness of 1.14 mm
Natural ability to prevent ultraviolet rays.
PVB interlayer also has the function of filtering ultraviolet rays. Data show that PVB film can absorb more than 99% ultraviolet rays, thus protecting indoor furniture, plastic products, textiles, carpets and artworks from fading and aging caused by ultraviolet radiation.
Good energy-saving performance
Because laminated glass made of PVB film can effectively reduce sunlight penetration, the darker the color and the lower the light transmittance, the stronger the ability of laminated glass to block heat. Therefore, if there is enough light at home, you may wish to choose laminated glass with medium light transmittance (50% to 70%).
Since the certification of safety glass products was carried out in 2003, most of the building laminated glass manufacturers in China have passed the product certification. Enterprises must screen-print or paste the 3C mark on the products they sell, or add the 3C mark on the minimum outer packaging and accompanying documents (such as certificates of conformity). When purchasing products, we should first check whether there is 3C mark, and check whether the purchased products are within the capability range of the enterprise that has passed compulsory certification and whether the certification certificate is valid through the network according to enterprise information, factory number or product certification certificate.
