According to the latest news, Shandong Jinjing Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jinjing Technology") successfully produced ultra-white glass with a length of 23 meters * a width of 3.3 meters and a total area of about 76 square meters at one time.
Since 2008, Jinjing Technology has maintained a record of manufacturing ultra-long and super-large ultra-white glass originals. This size breaks the glass window of Taikang Building, which just won the Guinness World Record not long ago-the oversized glass in the lobby on the first floor (17.1m× 3.107m, with a single area of 50.869m2). This original glass sheet is also produced by Jinjing Technology.
As we all know, glass is fragile. The longer the glass is, the greater the probability of defects, the stricter the requirements for production stability, and the more challenging the hoisting, storage and transportation. With the improvement of modern building level, higher requirements are put forward for the heat insulation, transparency, durability and safety of glass.
An ultra-white glass with all the machinability of high-quality float glass was born, which has low spontaneous explosion rate, consistent color, high visible light transmittance (above 91%) and good permeability.
And to produce this kind of glass, the stricter the technical requirements. Previously, this production technology was only mastered by foreign companies such as American PPG, French Saint-Gobain, British pilkington and Japanese Asahi Glass. In 2003, Jinjing Technology invested RMB 1 billion to build the first float ultra-white glass production line to fill the gap in China. In July 2005, ultra-white glass was successfully rolled off the production line. Jinjing Technology is the first enterprise in China to master the production technology of ultra-white glass.
The quality of this product has reached the international advanced level in the same industry, ending the history of ultra-white glass's complete dependence on imports and opening a new chapter in China industrial glass. The "Pure" products developed in 2019 once again lead the quality improvement of ultra-white glass.
